Not really tho, from what we've seen in previews, the animation looks pretty great and fluid, if anything the stylization is different. Which I'd say looks comfy as fuck. I'd even say it reminds me of Medabots in both sides.

I've been thinking for years that Pokemon should become more of a comedy/slice-of-life anime.
It's pretty clear at this point that it's never going to work as a proper shonen as long as it's running indefinitely to promote the games.
