The pokemon is the seaweed apparently hence grass typing.

Isn't it obvious? Gamefreak have stopped caring, they know no matter what, people will buy the games, they could make every single Pokemon normal type and people would buy the games.

The anchor - wtf? How many Ghost/Grass do we need? we just had Phantump, Trevenant, Pumpkaboo and Gourgiest in the last gen, now 2 more this gen...Ghost/Water, Ghost/Steel would've made SO much more sense, what about it is Grass type other than the wheel being wood...

Necrozma being Psychic will have a reason, but shit, adding Rock or Steel or even Dark to it would've being sensible.

According to the Pokedex, the seaweed is the actual Pokemon, the anchor is just an anchor
