Are those really all that's exclusive to each game, gameplay wise? Or are other things exclusive too like Pinsirite and Heracronite was? Still can't decide but I'm leaning more towards Moon

Same, Alolan Vulpix was one of the few things that I was excited for. Doesn't make much sense to not put the fairy-type that learns Moonblast in Moon, but whatever.

or literally no reason to get Sun, because Vulpix and the Fire/Dragon can be get via GTS. Solgaleo is available in Moon post-game. Lycancroc sun version is catchable, as well.
