Anyway, they are Pokemon so they respond to the same things other Pokemon do and in the same way that other Pokemon do. Use your brain.
Ultra Beasts are different.
Also, the legends and in game folklore is not the same as an actual alternate dimension. Even the little pocket of madness that is the Distortion World is still quite likely just an echo of the Pokemon world and not a completely separate dimension.
