I don't think Lycanroc will be OU. Probably at first when people are excited about using all the new pokemon like with sylveon in early XY, but it'll drop off.

Lycanroc can also set smogon stones.
So you Protect and then what? It just sets up Smogon Stones. You can't switch out and you can't stay in. Plus, Protect? Really? Volcarona needs all the moveslots it can get. You would be better off just doing a Giga Drain and hoping it predicted the switch out and you kill it after your own SR damage.

There are WoW Volcarona sets so I suppose you could WoW the dog on the switch but it's a risk.

I love Volcarona but this doesn't make it king of OU. However it does, as >>29781006 says, help a lot.
