I've cleared the first trial.

It's good. Probably a pain in the ass to nuzlocke since areas aren't separated that well. It would be perfect as a pokemon game if other trainers carried around more pokemons tho, because the difficoulty isn't that low even if most trainers I met had 1-2 mons. The totem was a joke, however.

So far it's solid.

Comfiest gen by far.

The game is so relaxing and nice to play. If it has a good post-game the it will be favorite gen material, otherwise still pretty good. QR and island scans is one of the more clever systems they thought of and I love that the BW2 joint avenue is back and improved.

So far so good, I'm loving the fuck out of it, the presentation and the organic region do wonders for it. Don't let the dex and post game shitposts keep you from playing it.

its cool for a while but it gets boring very quickly, plus i think its a bit too easy.
the "ur the chosen one xd" risky storyline they tried to make is actually really bad and forced.

Outside the story is a solid game

Lots of good QoL

Level design/overworld feels more themeparky than ever

Leaders/totems are actually somewhat challenging

Plot can go fuck itself even more than usual

Performance/load times are worse than XY

Is the world big?

One thing I'm worrying about is how small it looks.
Especially considering there are only four islands. To get to the islands, do you use Pokemon to swim or is there a boat kinda thing?

If you swim, are there many things to explore out on the ocean?
