Literally everybody hails Gen 6 as the worst gen for reasons I'm sure you'll are well aware of by now.

Gen 6 is god fucking compared to Gen 7.

I actually really liked Gen 6. The cycle does always repeat though. Gen 3 was called shit, and then suddenly before ORAS people hyped it as their fav. Now all of the Gen 4 "fans" are coming out of the woodwork..
Only gen I havent liked as much is 5

It's because each gen has been progressively worse. Also just saying XY was better isn't the same as saying it was good.
Also people really liked the starters this gen for most of the part, so they are pissed that all three of them are RU tier at best.
