Let me break down for you every mega asides from gen 3
>Normal types

>stall 2.0
>Hyper Offence(?) sweepers return, priority revenge killing is weak this gen

I mean, its not like this would negate the previous powercreep. Adding more useless things just makes a bunch of garbage no one uses, everyone will still use the old stuff, its still good.
And they didnt do a good job at it anyway, they gave us some of the most centralizing (tapus) and outright broken shit (UBs) in awhile.

I really liked gen3
>>29773908
Only Tapu Fini will be very centralizing desu, the other three don't have the tools to be threats on their own
also UBs are basically legendaries and most will probably be banned to Ubers
>>29774235
>People are STILL trying to use Trick Room in singles to this very day
>>29774477
>people still play the low skill battle format
grow a pair and play 6vs6 doubles

>doubles
meme tier desu

no thanks
>>29774538
>Wider variety of options available due to moves that only work in doubles(Heal Pulse), abilities that only work in doubles(Telepathy), doubles only strategies(Skill Swap Slaking, Storm Drain/Water Absorb+Surf), moves that are only good in doubles(Icy Wind), pokemon that are only good in doubles(Spinda), etc.
>No stall
>No entry hazard bullshit because
>No switching, unlike singles where switches are 90% of the game and matter more than your actual attacks
Doubles is more skill intensive, more enjoyable and is obviously the intended format for PvP battles. The only reason singles is played so much is because the singleplayer campaign is almost exclusively singles.
