We know that they are creatures from another dimension. You all need to fucking stop pinning them as normal legendaries like this. That Ultra Beast shouldn't be considered the first Poison legendary Pokémon cuz it's not normal.

Their ability descriptions refer to them as Pokemon.

Deoxys is a Pokemon from space.

"Legendary Pokemon" is a term that is mainly used outside of the games. There isn't a clear definition in-game as to what a "legendary Pokemon" is and there never has been.
