Nope. The only issue was some Pokemon had gotten megas when they needed proper secondary evolutions. Three or two stage evolution pokemon were prime candidates, pokemon like Mawhile should have just had a second evolution.

I love Mega Mawile so fucking much, but it really should've been just an evolution. I don't see why Game Freak had to curse shitmons with a lifetime of being unable to be evolved or properly fixed

Stuff like Beedrill was fine, that has to be the perfect Mega. A lot of what we got though were fucking trash. Now that SM is ditching the concept I feel kinda bad that we won't be getting anymore just to fix any remaining shitmons or go hand-in-hand with counterparts. Like Froslass getting skimmed

Game Freak really are shit

I kind of like the idea of a format where a team is built entirely around one pokemon to an extreme extent, but some megas in particular annoy me in other ways either by being a little too good, or like >>29762401 said
