History suggests that Nintendo only bans for using public headers. And even if you were banned, history also suggests that their bans are temporary, at least the first time.

Don't go using GTS or Wonder Trade. That's just stupid. But don't freak out over being online or just going to the Festival Plaza.


And even if you did get a console ban, you just need to change your serial number. Real easy and fast fix.
