Yeah I noticed a lot of frail/slow attackers. I never understood this logic. The good thing is that speed doesn't matter as much in the regular game. Mostly just the meta game. I'm pretty casual though. The meta game just sucks all the fun out of it for me.

That's the thing, the meta is going to be EXACTLY the same as OR/AS because they didn't give anything to challenge those mons.

New mons are slow as fuck, alolan are pitifully average, and the buffs to older mons doesn't change much (if anything) at all.

The only mon I gave a fuck about (Minior) has pretty decent stats and a cool move set/ability aside from having an awesome design, so I'm perfectly happy. Also Lycanroc is looking pretty cool too. Almost like a rock type lucario sans special attack.
