This guy asap. Starters are true gutter trash. I was a littenfag at first but Gamefreak managed to do literally everything wrong to it from design to usefulness. I'm almost impressed.

most people were on the fence with the starters because of their designs. Their slow speeds just pushed them over the edge. Slow Pokemon are such a pain in the ass to use ingame since they're constantly getting statused. It doesn't help that their defenses aren't great.

and at least Venusaur was immune to poison and Torerra was immune to paralysis. The starters this gen have no status immunities.
