Meh Swampert has a way better typing though, just one 4 weakness and anything else just hits normal or gets resisted, plus one immunity.
Incineroar on the other hand has a ton of weaknesses. I love Swampert and I don't really care about competitive either, but I'm pretty sure that if he didn't have such a good defensive typing the playstyle such a stat distribution would warrant wouldn't be fun to me.

It can actually become pretty decent special wall and physical attacker. Most of the types it resists are specially oriented. Slap on an assault vest and intimidate, invest in attack and HP, and you can have a pretty decent bulky attacker. Don't expect it to be higher than UU though. The problem is, it's weak to Dark, Fire, Flying, Ghost, and Ice. In this meta it's hard to find an offensive Pokemon that doesn't have access to at least one of those. I can't see it walling much of anything, let alone having the spare HP to set up Curse when its bulk isn't even that great to begin with.

There's also the fact that Curse is a volatile status so it's basically useless, since the opponent can just switch. Now sure, if it's very late in the game and there aren't any viable switches, alright... but that's a really tiny niche.
