Why would you guys want something that directly competes with Talonflame? It would either fail miserably and be sorely outclassed, or it would be even more broken. One smogonbird is cancerous enough.

Instead it has a different niche as a wallberaker, putting Talon's measely 81 attack to shame. And 80ish speed isn't great but does outspeed some major threats.

I could see it being low use but with a niche in higher tiers.

Typing doesn't exist in a vacuum. Those Pokemon are good because of their stats, abilities and movesets, which in tandem make up for Steel and Flying's offensive mediocrity.
