well shit them, what do you guys think about the first two arcs?

Personally the gym leaders being team rocket members was an interesting twist but i would have felt happier if the story continued to be just about Red getting his badges, the Saffron offensive was neat and i really like what they did with the good gym leaders

As for Yellow i have mixed feelings about the arc as a whole, i was expecting Yellow to take battles more seriously after training with Blue/Green since her idea of going full undertale on the enemy obviously wouldn't work forever, the elite 4 being evil was fucking stupid, making Lance the main antagonist was retarded, plus the fucking war happening in Kanto, i get they were trying to set up for GSC but Jesus Christ man

Gold is pretty shitty guy in-universe and no one really admire him. While he stopped Team rocket 2 time, it was a joint effort with other dexholder and many gymleader. He also lack any notable accomplishment aside from that.
Diamond and Pearl are essentially Platinum's lackeys.
White and W2 are pretty pathetic compare to game-verse.
Red is sympathetic but somewhat warped into Mary sue as the series progress. Yellow is Mary sue, but somewhat likable, at least in her arc. Emerald is an unlikable mary sue.
