I'm playing through Y a second time and I picked Chesnaught. This thing gets so many fun moves. Leech Seed and Rollout plow through everything early-game, then I taught it Power-up Punch and Seed Bomb for STAB, and when Rollout started falling behind, I replaced it with Spiky Shield for maximum Leech Seed stall. And goddamn, it can even learn Hammer Arm and Belly Drum with heart scales. Chesnaught's pretty rad.

I love all 3 of the Gen 6 starters, it's just a shame this guy's signature move was horribly outshadowed by a better protect that was made the same gen. Also doesn't help its 2nd evo looks like complete garbage.

I mean.. chespin is by far the best first stage gen 6 starter, but chesnaught is arguably the worst, imo. That could be changed with a decent color scheme though, which the shiny sort of fixes.

I love big guy Briggariggaron, easily my favorite Kalos starter. I do still kind of wish he was Grass/Steel and that the gorgeous shiny colors were swapped with the standard palette.

I prefer Greninja, but armadillo knight is pretty cool as well.
I'd actually even say I slighty prefer it to Decidueye.
