Why doesn't GF just redo shinies? Honestly, who would be pissed if they made some changes for the better? We already know they regretted a few, like Garchomp and as it seems Dragonite. Pros, cons for changing shinies retroactively?

What do you mean? That image is how it's shiny looks normally. Its just a tad darker is all.

It's a lot darker with a more bluish tint. In Gen 6 GF thought making shinies black is the way to make them cool. The primals, Mega Ray, now the Tapus and Decidueye.

I like the Tapus. Makes them look like a single unified totem with minimalist details on them. Would be better if it was a nice beige like an actual wooden totem, but it's still good.

I don't think it's the right direction. They are not overdoing it, but the cool looking ones seem to get these shinies more frequently now.
