Capable of flight.
Claws that can shoot projectiles.
Needed a special item to evolve.
Can evolve further with mega evolution.
Its mega essentially made it have more sleek down design.

Since GS, it was always a BL Pokémon whose only Steel STAB was Metal Claw, which was its signature move until Crystal.

It was buffed on Gen 4 thanks to adding a good ability in Technician, and since Platinum it can learn Bullet Punch, a priority STAB that is boosted by its new ability, Bug Bite from Move Tutor, a Bug STAB that can eat its target Berry and is also boosted by Technician, and Superpower through Move Tutor, a Fighting-type coverage that might not be the best move but makes Scizor to hit like a truck and because you can switch any time you want then it makes Superpower better.

Then Gen 7 came and added Psychic Terrain, a new terrain move that prevent moves with increased priority to always fail and combined with low Speed it will make Scizor to have a hard time (at least to summon Psychic Terrain is needs the target to waste a turn on it)

I didn't like scizor much until recently.

I was getting near the Elite 4 in Y, my last 3DS broke so I was having to get to the endgame again. I had a probopass on my team that I was only using because it was a horde shiny, but it wasn't working out too well for me and I didnt like it much. I wanted a steel replacement and scythers are in a route just before victory road.

I bred one for the right nature (I dont care much about IVs and all that) and evolved it immediately. It was female and I named her Poppy.

Total bro. Wrecked diantha's mega gardevoir even when ten levels below.

Design wise it was, battle wise it unfortunately is pretty shit. Gen 3vhad some interesting concepts for bugs like ninjask and shedinja but they they are ultimately gimmicky to use.

Not much to talk about. Everyone knows how strong Scizor has been in the competitive scene, though it will probably take a hit in Gen 7. As far as I've seen it's pretty popular here. It's my personal favorite pokemon.
