It only made me think about how long Pokemon tend to live.

Day/Night triggers randomly each time you start up.

When I was a kid my friend gave me his old copy of ruby with the battery run dry, I remember never having any time based events trigger because of this.

This doesn't work, it will mess up the clock and make you wait another day before event start working again. Its possible to trick the game so you can view them but i don't remember how.

If I'm late getting the demo, will I have missed loads of events? Or can you do them at any time.

I just thought it would be good to note all of the scenes in-game.

If you're a completionist there's also new text every day from Kukui and the Mysterious old man on the island with all of the breakable rocks after he gives you some stardust, or star shards, I don't remember what they're called. He just keeps telling you to fuck off, but it's still kind of funny to see what he has to say each day.

No, I adjusted my system clock one hour for daylight saving time and apparently that was enough to fuck with the demo making the last two events occur 2 days later.

I've done everything else and had every other event occur so far though, I hope there's a reward for having done every timed event but I really doubt it

The policeman thought there was some shady deal going down. Two guys gathered at the end of the dock, asking if the other was followed and such. Turns out, they were just there to talk about how cute each others' Slowpoke was. The policeman is somewhat squicked about this, saying something along the lines of 'there are some things in this world that I don't need to know about.'
