OR no question. Aqua grunts are a little more interesting than Magma grunts, but in terms of admins/leaders Maxie/Tabitha/Courtney are WAY more interesting and compelling than Archie/Matt/Shelly. Also, the Delta Episode makes more sense going along with OR than with AS.

Also, Kyogre was the far superior legendary in the original Ruby/Sapphire, OR gives Groudon a chance to shine like it never got before.

Just to add to this, I feel like Archie is a super likable character in OR. Granted he does the exact same thing that Maxie does in AS, but Archie feels very friendly and chill during his few appearances.

In my opinion the story and what the evil team tries to achieve fits more with Archie's character. I just don't see Maxie being so hotheaded and Archie being rasonable like it is on OR

ORAS is better. Archie is a better good guy than villain, and his lieutenants aren't nearly as good as Courtney. Of course, you could also just play Emerald and have an even better time.

I went with OR and I was happy with it. Team Magma are fun villains and I actually love their whole appearance with the salute before every battle.

May has a better personality as a rival then Brendan due to the rival kinda crushing on the character. Kinda off putting when Brendan is acting like that. Plus, I personally like the Norman is proud of you and Wally looking up to you more as the male character, but that's personal taste.

I guess you could always replay if you feel like it or watch a vid if you're going to play as a girl for the different character interactions. Again, personal taste. Just play as a girl if you want to play as her. Play as a boy for her character interactions and taking her on a date.
