Dusk Ball, Timer Ball, Premier Ball have always been some of my absolute favorites.

I wish ball changing was a thing by niw, even if only for your starter.
In both X and OR I caught my first non starter Pokémon in one to keep through the game as my second in charge kind if deal.

Omega Groudon was the hardest Pokémon I've ever has to catch thanks to my premier ball legendary crusade autism

When do we get these?

Sport Ball doesn't have capture animations in the datamine, so I don't think its returning.
It remains exclusive to a handful of Bug-types without HAs.

I always end up using pokeballs pretty much exclusively for my ingame team because I like shit to match and the first few pokemon I get will most likely be caught in them.
I hope we can change what ball a Pokemon's in in SM.

At the risk of getting everybody's hopes up, all the balls seem to have slightly unique catch animation. Why program that if the Apricorn Balls weren't going to be usable, right?

To add to this, we know from the trailers that there will be a way to buy Region-specific items. You can bet your ass I expect Apricorn Balls in the Johto store, and Dream Balls in the Unova store.

Premier is OBVIOUSLY best, I use it for my shinies.

I like dusk ball too though, I like its animation for popping open and shut. The purple-y color is neat.

luxary ball without a doubt. brings back good memories. in pokemon emerald this was the last ball that i had when i caught latios. the latios had shit stats in everything but had 30 speed and 30 special attack. i cloned it, got it into my ds, and traded for a lot of legendaries in soul silver. plus it was in my favorite theme deck Dark Rampage
