Togekiss was, design wise, such a disappointment, and it's the only thing I don't like about it. With its prevos we have an egg into a small angelic creature that was the poster child for happiness pokemon; something sacred and pure. It being used as the final shadow pokemon in Colleseum drove in this symbolism.

Personally, I love Pignite... When I was doing a playthrough of Black and White I never fully evolved my Oshawott or Tepig because I thought the final evolutions were ugly/disappointing.

Grovyle has leaves all over the place. There's no reason for it to have two tails or to have one ponytail leaf that goes from its head to its tails when the animal it's based off of uses one tail for camouflage rather than its whole body being hidden by some leaf-like appendages
