Is there a way of trading pokemon from my old Game Boy Colour cardridge thing onto my 3DS?
The game is Pokemon Fire Red
I've got a Nintendo 3DS, a Nintendo Gameboy colour, a Nintendo 2DS and a gameboy advance if that helps.

Fire Red is a Gameboy Advance game.
You need a Nintendo DS and a 3DS to transfer from GBA to 3DS.

you can then rip them from the save in pkhex.

If you have an R4 and a DS you can rip the saves from your GBA slot.

You need an original DS with a gba cartridge slot to go from Gen 3 to 4. Your 3DS and 2DS can go through 5-6-7 though.

Step 1: Migrate the Pokemon from Fire Red to Pearl, Diamond, or Platinum.
Step 2: Use the Nintendo DS download play to send the Pokemon to Black, White, Black 2, or White 2. This will require two Nintendo DSs.
Step 3: Use the PokeTransfer on the 3DS to migrate them to the PokeBank.
