Some real nice choices OP. I'd only agree with you on Murkrow and Gengar, but the majority are pretty high up on my favorite list. Good taste.

Odd amount of unevolved mons but I can relate a bit, especially given what Lanturn evolves into. Always found Glameow ugly and can't see the appeal of Pineco. Gengar is a bit generic as far as ghosts go so half point. Props on Poliwhirl. 15.5/18.

With all due respect I think yours might be the one I disagree with the most in this thread. While I can see Scyther having nostalgic appeal, it's a weird choice in a type full of cool, more insect like designs. Infernape is probably my second most disliked starter design. Mega Charizard is an abortion. Gengar is once again not necessarily bad but like Scyther generic choice in a type full of cooler mons. I've never liked Dialga. 13.5/18.

Cleffa is a weird choice to me. I hate Emolga because it seems like a clone of Pachirisu, who is already a pikaclone. Aggron is just a generic bro mon and I could never tell what it was going for. Golduck just looks dumb. 14/18.

-1 Darkrai -1 Lucario -1 Infernape -1/2 Gengar -1 Gallade. Points off for Darkrai because I don't see the appeal. Points off for Infernape for just being a bad fire starter in my opinion. Point off for Gallade, never liked it, don't think it should exist. Nearly took off two points for Lucario. Rest is meh besides Tyrantrum, Heracross, and Scizor. 13.5/18.
