I think Shedninja is still and will forever be the creepiest Pkemon ever
it's a- a shell! it doesn't move! and it can still level up and learn and- and- how? it's just freaking me out man
It is kind of weird when you think about it. Like does Shedninja have memories of being a Nincada? Or is it a totally new lifeform? Does it share a soul with Ninjask?

Parasect's conciousness gets taken over by a host-parasite. Nightmare fuel

Maybe it's an imprint of Nincada's soul.
My favorite Pokemon, conceptually.
Decidueye. He's really spooky and creepy, lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to hunt you down. Plus owls are scary in general, they can suck your soul out of your body and shit
*shivers*
truly a ghost type

I'm thinking, in one of the future games, there's a guy with a hat that looks suspiciously like a parasect's cap. He lives alone in the woods and gives you a berry. It's never mentioned, or confirmed, but...
think about it.
Those eyes never change.

Anyway, is Shedinja popular now? Did I missed something?

shedinja's always had a cult popularity

Bugcatcher here. Always try to fit one on my team. Definitely one of my faves, even if it's usually more miss than hit. In game I'm conservative with how I use him, usually only putting him up against pure waters, electrics, normals, and dragons. But when Shedinja comes through for you and your opponent's last mons cannot hit you with anything they've got, you finally appreciate the true creepiness of the floating husk Pokémon.
