Yeah it is updated pretty often and new stuff and events are added all the time. As for the Pokémon, I don't think they have the latest gen. I'm not sure though.

It's pay to win if you want to be on the absolute top in the rankings or something. There are a lot of ways to play, and you can play this and actually enjoy without spending a penny. The game gives you rewards and even different Pokémon daily just for logging in. You never run out resources if you keep playing this. It is not bad at all, and that is why I even bothered to make a thread about it.
