In Showderp, we all come together to play a game that is not just Pokemon-related, but uses the Pokemon battle system, albeit through the borderline-illegal path of the Pokemon Showdown! website. Indeed, all of the "mememons" created for use in Showderp can be constructed in the actual Pokemon games, where they will work exactly as they do here, because Showdown- and thus, Showderp- plays by Pokemon rules.

Your favorite pasttime, meanwhile, is not- or is barely- related to the board topic. No matter what you try to tell yourself, Hunger Games threads will not, and is never, going to be Pokemon, no matter how many Pokemon end up in the competition.

Showderp is one thread. It is always one thread with possibly a discarded old thread somewhere on the back pages of the catalog, and not several thousand threads spamming up the board- in fact, it goes through about one thread every day, which all in all is pretty slow for "general" standards.
