Well I don't know how normal people handle it, but personally, I handle it by getting a good night's sleep, working 40 hours a week, spending as much time as I can with my girlfriend, and when I do get some time to myself, replaying older Pokémon games or playing other games entirely.

I have enough stuff to fill my days. I did take a few days off work just to indulge in Sun and Moon, though.

Being sick is enough to occupy your time twice over if it's something like an ear infection or your average cold. You also have like, 70 other franchises to pick from at this point, and there's no excuse. Also, jobs. Jobs make you not notice time flies obscenely fast
