I'm mostly wondering about their order. It seems random. Of course everyone thought those would be the starters' typing, but then the final evolutions happened.
Does the katakana have anything to do with it? For them to be numbered like so?
I'm still surprised Decidueye decided to ditch Flying altogether for Ghost. While Grass/Flying to Grass/Ground was far from the truth (some people assumed this from the icons), Rowlet did indeed change its secondary typing, albeit to Ghost. Fire seems rather alone in there (Ground/Fire doesn't really make sense at all) and then Water comes with Fighting afterwards, which everyone assumed Popplio to become Water/Fighting, which spawned a lot of Water/Fighting fake evolutions for Popplio.
Mudsdale is a Pokerider mon and Crabrawler is the first Kahuna's ace. Maybe those were originally planned to be revealed earlier. Still, the order is very odd.
But kekking at all the "THEY WOULDN'T GIVE THE FIRST STAGE A SECONDARY TYPE ONLY TO DROP IT ARE YOU STUPID" faggots. I knew from day 1 they would keep Charizard the only Flying starter.
