I've never played ORAS and I've seen a lot of people saying they love this feature. What's so good about it?
It made it so that wild Pokemon could have hidden abilities, egg moves, and good iv's

For me, it made running 2000 times into the same shitmon be rewarding.
it allows you to find any pokemon on the route, those pokemon also occasionally have their HA or an egg move

Nothing. It's just more tedious grindy RNG bullshit and breeding is faster.
It's the perfect love child between gen 4's Pokeradar and gen 5's Habitat List.
1/200 approx shiny chance w/ shiny charm, i'll take that
Was the thing about DexNav making it easier to get shiny pokemon true? I caught a shiny Ralts that way, but could of been a coincidence.

Sounds pretty useful. Is it coming back on Sun and Moon or is another exclusive feature/gimmick?

According to Ohmori GF doesn't make new games while looking at previous ones, they want to make "each game from scratch", which is incredibly hypocritical when you realize just how much they rehash while STILL dropping features that people love like they never happened.
So, most likely gone, just like horde battles.

Delta Episode. Can't wait for the rumored Z episode.

I think I read somewhere it's gone, though it may be present in some different way.
Too bad because it was easily the best feature of ORAS.

Yeah you're right it's complete bull.
>Maison in ORAS
>Customization in Sun/Moon
The real reason is they leave some things in older games to encourage their sale down the road.

Yes
Shiny chance increases with Search Level
Chains only make a difference on #50 and #100
Shiny charm matters (it technically double-counts, too)
