Difference is Iris was the main girl so she got most of the focus of that season, whereas even if you didn't like Max he was easily ignorable in most episodes.

Maybe its because I've rewatched through AG several times, but Max never really bothered me outside a few small scenes here and there. In most episodes he's basically just treated as a second Brock.

I'm not saying everyone is the same. I'm saying that the way the website works changes your behaviour. Tumblr puts a lot of emphasis on making your identity relevant in most cases. On 4chan the topic and what you have to say is what matters more. I think the difference in an "average user" comes from this, and not the other way around. If you spend a lot of time in said website, if you get experience from it, that can change you. Look past that, and a lot of 4chan isn't that different from Tumblr.
