Incineroar is a 9/10 design. Its only flaws are its hands. Holy shit they are awful.

Half the boards wants the owl, but they usually fight among themselves because of the typing.
The other two starters have their own threads.
The RAGING autism died down. I guess the months of them being leaked reduced eased everyone to them.

I like all of them for various reasons:

ok im happy now and less stressed.

I was afraid that everybody hates fire cat because...idk because he's a furry and has "fire diapers" or whatever autism /vp/ imagines.
Im very happy that it's fine.
I know is bad to follow trends and stuff but its always was like that in pokemon community.
People still fight over Garbodor where weirdos love its design and everybody else hate it so its very problematic (i dont use Garbodor but find it funny so its stressful to see comments in the internet)

I like them all but I can recognise their flaws;

Decidueye is great, best design and I hope it's good competitive-wise, however I can see why people complain about its typing, nobody could have guessed it was ghost. Also worst (english) official name imo and grass/ghost is better than grass/flying but still subpar.

Incineroar has a good personality and it has the best animations but it's also my least favorite design ( the proportions are weird as fuck), great model though.

Primarina has the best typing/name of the bunch, I like the design and theme but at the same time its signature move is shit, also it's probably going to be outclassed by tapu fini.

Dicidueye is probably the best design that stays truest to his starter. Great typing. Seems to be a great in game pokemon because it's signature attack will be good for trapping and catching pokemon.

Incineroar comes second with design. I do not like how his design changes from quad to bipdel and it has pissed off tons of people. BUT the fact that his animations seem to have a lot of character to me makes up my disappointment. I don't like his animation for his signature move but chances are Flamethrower will end up being better anyways (i.e. see Blaziken and Blaze Kick). Dark/Fire is a good typing

Primarina has a cool typing but I have a feeling she'll get cucked in the stat department. The mid evolution is also the weekest in the bunch. Not to mention there is a huge problem with

I promise you're wrong. Most of them are focused on Decidueye simply because it is so much more popular than the other two.

Either way, I feel like Decidueye may disappoint people just because it is SO hyped, like anything less than high OU tier. It'll still be the most popular and all of the normals will pick it.

Incineroar will be somewhat divisive but I think it'll grow on people. It has a decent typing and it has a lot of personality in it's animations.

I'm not saying Primarina is hated by everyone, but it has the most working against it by far. Many people are already put off by it because of the gender ratio, and even though it might be a minor thing overall, it's signature move. Granted, a good HA and movepool could help it, but many people probably won't even give it a chance. It won't happen, but the gender ratio being reversed would help it A LOT. However, another really big thing is the existence of Tapu Fini. While we don't know that Fini will fill the same role, having to compete with a legendary will make many people not see a point in Primarina. Probably the best case scenario is that Fini ends up in Ubers in a competitive sense.

Decidueye's design is fucking perfect. Seriously, the execution of this thing is nigh on flawless. The hood/bowstring thing is just inspired, and a Ghost type starter? FUCKING YES

Incineroar's personality is fucking perfect. The design put me off at first, but his description completely turned that around. His heel persona and the fact that he has to maintain kayfabe are just... really fun. I don't know why GF can't make a fire starter that doesn't look like a fighting type, but this is their best attempt so far.

I'm less excited about Primarina, but I appreciate that the throughline from stage to stage makes total sense. Even if I like Incineroar more, the heel persona does kind of come out of nowhere. It's also just fuckin graceful, man, and that's my A E S T H E T I C

I love Rowlet's first form, it's a cute little owl. I'll probably still box it because its evolutions lose everything I like about Rowlet and gain most of what I hate about it.

Primarina is my least favorite because of the low-detail, noodely design of her body.
