Piratefag here. I pirate games and then buy carts of games I like so I can have more space on my SD. Already bought Sun on cart regardless though.

I usually buy the Cartridge, mainly because it saves room on the SD card for smaller ones like the Super Mario games and R/B/Y.

Physical cart is more practical. The download just takes up too much space.

2. Cool as fuck to remove or insert in the console
3. You can put it in the box and resell if necessary
4. Saves space on SD card for digital only stuff (of course I can always get a bigger card, so this is a lame point)
5. Allows me to take pictures of my collection and post it here
6. Comes with bonuses and cool stuff if preordered

The only downside I can see is playing the game later, but I can live with that.

I don't buy games on cartridge, I buy them on card. Cartridges haven't been around since the GBA age, silly.

That'd so be worth going all digital.

I always go for physical, but especially for Pokemon games. Physical lets you swap the game between multiple systems, which is a benefit for things like Pokemon Bank and self-trading.

Good example of this is my JP copy of Pokemon X. Pokemon Bank isn't region-locked, so I can use both my US Y and JP X on the same account rather than having to spend money on two separate Bank accounts for each 3DS.
