Semi off-topic question, but I'm working on my Pkhex knowledge and I've heard conflicting reports on this: do I have to reroll PID after editing IVs?
JUST IVs, nothing else. Is that tied to the PID at all?

Alright then, thanks. I was just asking because I want to edit my legit Pokemon caught/bred over the years so I can use my bros in a proper team, so I'm only editing IVs and sometimes natures, the less I touch the better since these are real Pokemon generated in-game.

It's weird that they made hack checks a lot weaker than gen 5 though, it's like they just gave up. I remember PID was even tied to Nature, there were impossible PID/Nature/IV combinations, also something about hidden bytes, etc.

Is there any problem let the Last Handler the same as OT? Because I just fucked up and closed the app within the quick saves.

The injector will send the event mon in a direct trade through the acquaintance list. That's how they did if I remember correctly. The injector sends first an injected mon through GTS, then the event mon through the acquaintance trade. At least the event mon is legal since it has ribbons and stuff that prevent it from going through GTS in the first place.

Well if they're online you can usually see them on top of the list. Of course to make things easier, they have to provide details like their IGN and trainer icon. It's much quicker if the event mon is followed-up as soon as you send the first injected mon through GTS as that trainer who received it should be at the first of your acquaintance list provided they're still online if I remember correctly.

Here are all of the occasions to get a CFW on your 3DS that you have missed:

Yes, this is the first one. Not 4.x, Gateway's shit and you had no reason to stay on 4.x unless you didn't want to play with your 3DS in 2013 and 2014.
However, in early 2015, when 9.2 was one of the latest system versions, you could downgrade to 4.x to install an unstable and free CFW. And after only a few months, an actual, free CFW was released: rxTools. It didn't allow you to pirate at first, but that came soon enough. Meanwhile, it allowed you to update from 9.2 WITHOUT losing its benefits and gaining everything else. But you idiots couldn't inform yourselves properly, no! Lurking the usual places (like GBAtemp or 3dbrew) or even >>>/vg/hbg/ (formerly /gwg/) was too hard for you fucking idiots. You feel this stupid need to be dumb and not even read what the system updates do to your console.
It's even worse, since the easy browser entrypoint on 9.2 actually became popular at the time. And when the next update came out, you had no reason to update. NO REASON. And yet you did. Because you couldn't read two sentences about it.
So you heard all of the /vp/ shitposters saying stupid shit like "yeah you need to go to 9.5 the pokemon cheat still works xDDDD". And while that's true, updating from 9.2 makes you lose what made 9.2 good in the first place: allowing you to control everything.

Oh, that includes piracy as well, people who can't buy games tend to enjoy that. It also includes being able to run games without the region lock.
