I fucking love Heartgold.

If you look at it mechanically, yeah, the games are pretty shit, what with the whole level scaling and some Johtomons being locked in Kanto. But it's certainly the most fun I've ever gotten out of a Pokemon game.

Meganium is actually very underrated starter. Yeah sure he doesn't get leech seed or sleep powder but he gets Magical Leaf, Barrier and Petal Dance, thats pretty wicked for the circumstances.

That's only true for Sneasel (Slugma=egg). Do you fags not know what the Safari Zone is? Misdreavus, Murkrow, Houndour, on top of some fucking neat mons only in Kanto in the original GSC like Mr. Mime or Cubone.

well technically you are right but you still can't get someone like Electabuzz or Houndour until you beat lance.

I just replayed it for the first time since 2010.

You only have a point with Sneasel abd Houndour and even then thats two pokemon.
You can catch a fucking Ghost, Psychic, Electric, Water, and Fighting type before the 3rd Gym.
No other game before of since has had distribution that fantastic, Ghost and Fighting are usually mid-to-late-game types
