I'm happy he got some recognition.. This was my first shiny I caught so he has a special place in my heart

I wanted Toxicroak, but this is just as good.

I like Toxicroak, but why did they choose it over Croagunk?

They probably chose Croagunk over Toxicroak because the character design is better at conveying its personality and archetype better. Since it's a fighting game, it doesn't rely on stats so it doesn't matter if a Pokemon is fully evolved, NFE or an uber legendary. Why not give him a chance?

I personally would have picked Meowth
