I don't think so. As far as I'm aware, they also actively avoid pointing out sexual dimorphism.

Only when it's plot relevant I think. I never watched Best Wishes, but I believe they'd have to point it out whenever Snivy's Attract wouldn't work.

There have been times where certain Pokemon have been referred to as a girl or a boy, when it's plot relavent, but I can't remember a pronoun other than 'it' being used on any Pokemon.

Are you kidding? It happens all the time in the pokemon anime!
But then again, I'm french and in our language you HAVE to define a gender for a pokemon. there is no "it"

What about Meowth from Team Rocket though? Are the pronouns he or it?
