Pre gen 6 Wondertomb. Kekked.
>>29608340
Weak to owl attacks
>>29608367
Fire Fang? Scrappy? Soak in conjuction with a Grass or Electric attack?
>>29608367
>Machop used Foresight!
>Machop used Close Combat!
>>29608391
>Pre gen 6
>wonderguard
Scrappy is invalid, and fire dang is just wrong.
>>29608396
Ok, fair enough, but I don't think foresight makes fighting work on ghost, and even if it does, doesn't spiritomb have immunity, or, at least, not take super effective damage because of the ghost typing? In which case, WonderGuard keked it, and wind once again.
>>29608391
Uh, none of those would even touch it man. Soak, maybe, but I think the WonderGuard would kill all of those, since Spiritomb isn't weak to them.
>>29608522
>Foresight also removes the Ghost type's immunity to Fighting-type and Normal-type moves for any moves used against the target.
>>29608390
Weak to sun
>>29608522
Foresight lets normal and fighting moves hit ghosts, turning it into neutral damage. Because it's neutral the ghost typing will not cancel out dark types weakness to fighting moves letting machop hit spiritomb.

Go play Stadium 2 Earl's Academy
Use Stomp on Minimize and try again

>Ember
>>29608562
And, of course, since it'd be SE, WG would let it through... But you're assuming that I didn't Psychic your Machop in turn 1 anon, or worse, put it to sleep.
>>29608522
>>29608532
But wouldn't Scrappy give Wondertomb a Fighting-type weakness?
>>29608589
Considering this machop is already a set made specifically to counter 1 pokemon
