Zygarde 10% is standalone form classified under Zygarde's dex entry. 50% is the default and turns into complete.

Core is ineed a "Key Item" just like the Cells, yes. We could see that in the datamine. When you collect enough Cells in your Zygarde Cube, it becomes 10% Zydoge and you get it as an actual Pokémon. When you collect even more Cells, you unlock the ability to make it switch between 10% and 50% formes. And when you have collected all the Cells, you can change its ability from Aura Break to Power Construct. All using the Zygarde Cube.

Zygarde Cube better let us get the option to change to any of the desired formes the player want after collecting all the required cells and cores (100%)

I really hope that power construct is just a temporary crap ability and after that the player have collected all the cores and cells you'll get to change 10 or 50% Zygarde into the Complete forme and give it Aura Break.

It can't just be a key item.. Just make it something like a Magikarp with only Protect. As long as it's a real Pokemon with stats and that can be used in battle and Amie.
