Thanks to the Halloween event and the use of my last lucky egg I now have a good amount of 2000+ CP mons plus many others for training. I believe I'll just focus on gym battling from now, as the hunting part is basically over (I still need a few dex entries, but since most of them are evolutions I just need to walk the related buddy) and there's really nothing else to do without scanners and without any good features to keep me interested.

Anyone else experiencing problems right now? I basically can't play like this. I try to activate pokestops and they keep on turning endlessly without returning anything. And catching pokemons is fucking bugged as well: they struggle once, exit the ball, flee from the battle. And it's not like they are hard-to-catch ones: i even threw ultraballs + berry to 100 cp pidgeys and they all flee in the same way (about 15 consecutive encounters now).

Closed and opened a shitload of times now. Is re-installing the only way out? Anyone experienced this as well?

Depends on your team, I'm instinct but I always have 11-13 defenders and one of them is even a poliwrath, I also have a venusaur and victreebel.
For some people they only get one chance to place a mon on the gym, it is a good idea to keep at least one high CP mon for when you find a "stable" gym.

I have a lot of Gyarados, most of them with Hydro Pump. It simply doesn't work as a defending move, since I can dodge it 100% of the time, unless my phone glitches or I fumble my swiping.

My phone is so shit it often doesn't display the attacking move text until well after it already hit. Sometimes it doesn't display the pause in the opposing pokemon. Usually this occurs if you use a super effective move against them.

Hyper beam has it charging up on screen and still allows enough time to dodge it. Solar beam appears off screen, and hydro pump is instant as soon as you see the water

I walk 10pm-6am in random parks around town for the last week during this event.

Just finished another lucky egg batch with many new dex entries. Some disappointing results (mostly a 3rd shitty Rapidash and once again too many Jolteons) but also some decent to great results. My pic related is going to be one heck of an investment. However after thinking it through a few times and discussing it here as well before it should be worth it.

Btw I got myself my first two Vaporeons. One great for offense and another for defense. My Water Gun/Hydropump is only 60% IVs, is it worth it to power it up a bit? Same question for the other with much better IVs but only 872 CP, Water Gun/Water Pulse
