I didn't take full advantage of this event, probably could have filled my dex if I did, but I have to give it to Niantic, it was a real good event.

I hatched a Kabuto and he came with FIFTY SIX candies, I was able to evolve him on the spot.

Also I noticed the more you catch a type, the easier it is to catch them, that's cool.

I got my top tier Gengar now, so I'm happy. I can't wait to see what they do for Christmas.

I never saw any of the Gastly line, but then again I wasn't able to take advantage of the event.

I got a shitton of Cubones and Meowths, though. I was able to evolve a bunch of them and other mons and level up to 16.

So here's the deal.

Battle System -
Arena, 6v6. 3v3, 2v2 and FFA will be released for Trial users in the States (Not a Mass Country Release) parts of California, parts of Texas, parts of New York, and parts of Seattle, Washington.

Depending on field testing and progress the main release will come just before Thanksgiving or directly after.

Following this the new Trade system will be released the the same trial testing a little after Thanksgiving on through to week of Christmas where it is planned to be released.

Generation II will be released next Spring alongside the release of Pokemon Bridge on Switch. This will be a promotional push.

Fuck guys I'm getting desperate about owning a Dragonite. I have more than enough candy to evolve even two at once, but I still haven't found a decent enough Dratini/Dragonair. My strongest Dratini has 628 CP but only 73.3% IV's and my 97.7% Dragonair only has 234 CP.

Seed Bomb is objectively the worst charge move on an Exeggcutor.

But it's the fastest and can be fired in-between enemy charge moves unlike Psychic or Solar Beam which take a good 3+ seconds. Hell I can start dodging before the ~cinematic~ black bars go away.

I can dodge slow charge moves anytime but shit like Water Pulse and Bulldoze kill me because I can't tell if they're going to fire off just one or chain 20 of them in a row. It still boils down to the moveset, if it gets Bug Bite then have a good treeman lumberjack, fury cutter has the same attack speed but less attack power. X-scizzor is sonewhat pointless since the DPS isn't much more than Bug Bite except you can't dodge, a grass charge move could be helpful as an emergency water check.
