They thought they scrubbed it good. They were wrong.

They swapped all of the pokemon's actual data with Pikachu's. So every Pokemon that doesn't directly appear in the demo comes up as Pikachu, with Pikachu's stats, and as a pure electric type. I would assume all of the models come up as Pikachu as well, but what we do have are the Dex images. Which they apparently forgot to scrub.

the stats of every new pokemon are so low that there's nothing good to talk about them
