My favorite dragon too. I always felt that Salamence was the type of dragon that mostly stayed on the ground and could not fly for sustained periods of time due to body size and wing lenth.

I kove his sprite designs then they fucked it up.

Archeops problem is the model not the animation. The wings are literally human arms with some feathers glued on.

I just realized that the mons that have glidng animations are all Gen 3 mons. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Wingull would technically fly like that, granted it's a seagull and they usually glide, even if they aren't by the water. Salamence is probably to big to usually fly, so it should either be on the ground or something. Same with Tropius
