Is it safe to assume this will be the cutscene before Lurantis attacks?? Looks like 4 bowls to eat out of so this might be after you complete Mallow's trial of finding ingredients. (a giant bone?) Nice to know the captains will interact, hopefully it'll be more interaction than XYs with gym leaders.

Sophocles has not been confirmed to live in the lighthouse. That's just a guess based on past Electric trainers like Clemont and Volkner, or Amphy in Johto, etc.

Vikavolt is the Electric totem. If it really does evolve at level 40, we'll be meeting Sophocles much later in the game.

not only that, but the two trial captains next to mallow look upset about something behind the player character

i think it's a totally feasible theory that totem lurantis ambushes the party in question after you've completed the trial, forcing you to react and defeat it

i would be really happy to see this happen
