I'm hoping they get unique abilities again

Primarina will probably get Serene Grace if her signature does double damage with burns. Scald, signature with 2x, Scald, 2x signature. Might be interesting.

Stakeout would also be fucking radical on Decidueye.

Decidueye gets a new ability that makes attacks do double damage against targets that are trapped by moves like Mean Look and Spirit Shackle or abilities like Shadow Tag.

Incineroar gets a new ability that doubles the damage of all moves when above half health.

Primarina gets a new ability that doubles the damage of all sound moves and increases the chance of additional effects occurring by 10 percent.

Here's how it will go

Decidueye: Protean Ultra: All moves now hit for super effective damage. Decideye now changes to a type that the other pokemon cannot hit effectively. Also boosts damage of those moves and has the effects of huge power. Synergises perfectly with all 7 of his signature moves. Becomes Protean Giga when he mega-evolves into Ash forme (Sun edition).

I don't think they want to gimp Oricorio and make them less relevant by giving their signature ability to Primarina.

Serene Grace would be nice, but I'm hoping for some new unique ability.

Decidueye--Land Changer. If it uses a Flying move, it becomes immune to Ground moves, and if it uses a Ground move, it becomes immune to Electric moves.

Incineroar--Dirty Muscle. It treats Fighting moves as Dark moves.

Primarina--Radio Rage. It makes sound moves 1.5X as powerful.

Land Changer and Dirty Muscle sound awful, especially for those 2 (Unless Dirty Muscle also applies to the opponent).
One gives it the immunity to 2 types it already resists and only if it uses the coverage moves it needs to use them.
The other basically eliminates an entire coverage option that could of allowed it to use to beat Dark types that can take fire coverage.

Incineroar gets Fighters spirit: increases fighting moves power by 50% and decreases damage from fighting moves by 50%

Stakeout Spirit Shackle would make a great catch 22 and would give Decidueye a fantastic, flavorful niche. I've got my fingers crossed.

The more I think about it, Stakeout is the perfect ability for a sniper-based Pokemon, apart from Sniper itself. Striking an opponent for more damage as the come in is the Pokemon equivalent of a long-distance shot on an unsuspecting target.

GameFreak could lame out and give it Sniper, which wouldn't help at all. I could also see it getting Tinted Lens or Compound Eyes/No Guard/something to do with accuracy. Stakeout is far and away my number one hope and probably it's best possible option. That is of course unless they have something else special waiting for it.

Here's to hoping we can get HA starters early like Gen 6 instead of a Gen 5 situation. Game Freak will probably make sure they're released sooner than later with the somewhat improved focus on competition lately.

I would love to see a Contrary or Prankster Incineroar to go with the Heel wrestler motif.

It's sort of a stretch but Contrary being that Heels live for the boos and hate instead of cheers so apply that to stat changes in a sense.

Prankster because of the dirty tricks that Heels would use against their opponents.
