When ORAS came out, 3DS hacking was limited to firmware 4.5 (we were past 9.0 IIRC) and you needed to buy a gateway card. Few people had it.

If the game isn't being sold in Mainland China, then why the hell did they go through all the trouble of including a full simplified Chinese version script in the game? Simplified, as far as I know, is only used mainly in the communist mainland, while Hong Kong and Taiwan use the pre-1949 traditional characters and still prefer doing so out of pride (the simplified/traditional script debate is a pretty long story that's not for here)

Granted, Chinese can just import a Japanese copy and set the language to "简体中文" when they begin, but still though, that's like having an English option for a Japanese game that never gets released outside of Japan.

I've got O3DS and N3DSXL. I already have a9lh cfw luma on O3DS and using it for pretty much everything.

The problem is with N3DSXL which got 11.1. I'm an idiot for updating it last time because I thought that I'd leave 1 console 100% legit and 1 console on cfw. This was dumb idea and now I'm fucked.

The main reason why I want to install cfw on N3DSXL is because on march 18th there's Monster Hunter XX in Japan. C-stick and bigger screen is something I'd really appreciate.
