That may be true but I'll sure as hell take anything as long as it's more enjoyable than beta gen 6. The music quality is certainly great again and we got the spare pouch back

5th gen is too decisive for this game to be better or worse than it. I've never seen a gen that divided people's options so strongly.

S&M will fall in the middle of the scale but the people who hate 5th gen will still think it's the worst and the people who love it will think it's still the best.

I liked the full pokedex reset gen V did, it contains a lot of Pokémon I like and Team Plasma had goals that were not completely crazy.

It seem like Sun and Moon will not be sticking very closely to established Pokémon conventions, though, which is something I have wanted since Gen II. If they pull it off, I feel like Gen VII has the potential to be my favourite generation yet.
