I don't really mind if Graveler evolved all suddenly into something with a reptilian feature for a head after having a humanoid face IF and only IF Golem has a bit of a fucking neck. It looks awkward without it since reptiles tend to have a bit of a skin/neck to them.

People say that Golem's head is similar to Machokes (reptillian) because they are both evolve via trading, which would also explain why Machamp gets Graveler's 4 arms. I think this is bullshit though, and Golem is just damn ugly.

I have nothing wrong with ugly designs, but inconsistent lines like Graveler > Golem are kind of off putting.
