Sawsbuck is actually useful. Between Worry seed, jump kick, horn leech and leech seed it's a mon with lots of answers for many problems. It's also fast and hits HARD without being paper thin on defenses.

Now, who remembers this sad psychic duck? I swear every time I see it I even forget it's supposed to be legendary.

Carnivine.

At least the other Marsh Pokemon were fairly unique. At least people always bring up Finneon or Qwilfish as "forgotten Pokemon". Carnivine is just unremarkable.

Huntail and Gorebyss are up there though. Same with Heatmor. Anything super late or rare that doesn't become massively common later on falls into obscurity very quickly.
